The scene was a mobile phone salon on Ligovsky Prospekt, where an attacker arrived at about 10 pm on December 25. Threatening with a gun, he demanded revenue, but he was waiting for a stern rebuff. A saleswoman suddenly grabbed a gun from his hands, and her colleague grabbed a fire extinguisher. A short conversation did not convince the robber that he had failed. Resourceful sellers devastated the fire extinguisher, intimidated the attacker with a chair, and then fired several shots in the back.
Law enforcement officers detained the hijacker in less than half an hour on Chernyakhovsky Street. He turned out to be a 40-year-old recidivist, in the passenger compartment of which they found an Osa pistol with cartridges, an AK-103 assault rifle, five plastic stores, a bayonet-knife from an assault rifle, a baseball bat, two knives and two F-1 grenade models."
